HaZamir was honored to perform again at the Annual Gathering of Remembrance on Sunday, April 26th at Congregation Emanu-El in New York City.  HaZamirs Bergen County, Long Island, Manhattan and North Jersey participated in this special event, which is organized each year by the Museum of Jewish Heritage: A Living Memorial to the Holocaust.  This moving tribute brings together political leaders and members of the Jewish community with Holocaust survivors and their families to fulfill the sacred obligation to remember the six million Jews who were murdered during the Shoah.

Letter from a HaZamir singer who was part of this important event:

Dear Vivian and Mati,

Thank you very much for providing me and other HaZamirniks with the opportunity to perform at yesterday's Holocaust remebrance ceremony.  It truly was a very moving occasion, and it was amazing to be part of such an event.  Once again, thank you so much for organizing our participation in this event and for showing me how significant music really is as a tool of remembrance and unity.
